Welcome to Sacred Heart School!

For over a century, Sacred Heart School has been a cornerstone of excellence in Catholic education. Families from Salinas, as well as from communities as far north as Hollister and as far south as King City, have entrusted us with their children’s academic and spiritual formation. Our beautiful elementary and junior high campus has been rooted in the heart of the community for 75 years, and in 2015, we joyfully expanded to include a vibrant, progressive preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.

At Sacred Heart, we are committed to educating the whole child — mind, body, and spirit. We offer a rigorous academic program that cultivates 21st-century skills and a lifelong love of learning, all within a nurturing Catholic environment. As a small school, we provide personalized learning and attention that empowers each student to achieve their fullest potential. Our mission is not only to prepare students for high school and higher education but ultimately to prepare them for life — and for Heaven.

Faith is at the heart of everything we do. Every decision we make is guided by Gospel values, helping students understand that sainthood is the true mission of life. Alongside strong academics, students engage in spiritual growth, moral development, and community service, all woven into daily school life.

We also offer enriching programs in technology, Spanish, music, art, and physical education, plus a variety of after-school clubs and activities to spark students’ interests and talents. Our goal is to help every child grow in confidence, compassion, and character in a safe and supportive environment.

Our school’s strength also comes from our amazing parent community. Parents are encouraged to get involved — whether by volunteering in the classroom, joining our Parents’ Club, or supporting school events — creating a partnership that helps every child thrive.

I warmly invite you to visit our campus and see firsthand why Sacred Heart School has been the school of choice for families since 1906.

Blessings,
Rachel Meyers
