After-School Sports

At Sacred Heart School, athletics are an important part of our commitment to educating the whole child. Our after-school sports program gives students the opportunity to develop skills, build teamwork, and practice leadership—all while learning the value of good sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Our Junior High teams (grades 7–8) compete in the MTJAL and IPAL leagues, while students in Kindergarten through 6th grade participate in school teams through the Salinas Recreation Center League for flag football and basketball.

Parents play a vital role in our program and are encouraged to volunteer as coaches. All volunteers must follow the school’s guidelines for campus volunteering.
